A Red Seal certification is the “PhD of the skilled trades.” If your student is smart enough to go to college or university, then they’re smart enough to obtain a Canadian Red Seal certification. The cost of their apprenticeship education can be up to 90% funded through OYAP grants or 100% funded through certified Canadian Building Trade Union training.

He is a professional communicator, influencer, and recruiter with a string of successful careers with multinational companies and organizations such a Molson/Coors, Pepsi Cola Canada, the Canadian Hockey League, the CFL, the Hockey Hall of Fame and KEWL hockey apparel.
For the past 2 decades he has owned and operated Howitsir Inc., a specialized business development and branding firm.
For the past 15 years, he has worked exclusively within Canada’s Building Trades industry. Throughout his tenure, he has delivered “game changing” brand optimization initiatives that are instrumental to the growth of skilled trade careers across North America. Organizations benefitting from his influence include LiUNA (Labourers International Union of North America), the Pipeline Contractors Association of Canada, Operating Engineers of Canada and United Association of Welders & Pipe Fitters.
He is an accomplished keynote speaker with experience engaging audiences in the areas of brand loyalty marketing, relationship cultivation and entrepreneurship. He has entertained and educated audiences from Ottawa, Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, San Diego, Las Vegas, Miami and Chicago, to San Juan, Puerto Rico) and Kingston, Jamaica.
Howie lives in Barrie, Ontario with his wife and 2 daughters. He is an avid motorcyclist and classic car collector with a passion for music, playing hockey, community service and family.
